The 20-year-old Spanish player won a five-set thriller to topple Novak Djokovic in the final as he won 1-6, 7-6, 6-1, 3-6, 6-4 at the jam-packed Wimbledon court.
This was Alcaraz’s third-ever meeting against Djokovic and now he has won his second match against the Serbian. It was an epic thriller at the All England Club in London as the youngster stood tall against the 23-time Grand Slam winner in the final.
The world witnessed Alcaraz’s fantastic victory, a riveting performance by the Spaniard. Novak Djokovic, who won the French Open Final earlier, was pegged back and was denied his 8th Wimbledon title.

Novak Djokovic was emotional after his Wimbledon 2023 defeat. It was an outstanding performance from both players but in the end Alcaraz won the match. The Serbian had a powerful message for his son who was present at the final.
