The Washington Wizards are reportedly likely to send Chris Paul to a third team following the Bradley Beal trade with the Phoenix Suns.

Chris Haynes reports that the Clippers could be the destination for Paul, who previously played for the Los Angeles franchise.

“The Washington Wizards are likely to reroute Chris Paul in a trade and the Los Angeles Clippers are expected to pursue a reunion with the future Hall of Famer,” he reported on Sunday night.

Some of Paul’s best career years came with the Clippers.

The Clippers have Paul George and Kawhi Leonard on the roster, though neither have managed to stay completely healthy in recent seasons.

The same could be said of Paul, though he’s clearly still quite talented.

It will be interesting to see if the Wizards can get anything back from Paul.
