Woman’s shock after discovering secret room in her house behind wardrobe

A woman has shared her shock on the social media platform, TikTok, after a DIY project led to her finding a mysterious room behind her wardrobe.

In a video shared online, by TikTok user @abrianacristel, it is revealed the she discovered the secret space after knocking down a built-in wardrobe.

The video has gone viral with over 800 thousand views on the social media platform. In the video, she exclaimed: “This is so weird” before showing off the large space adjacent to her bedroom.

Uploading a second piece of footage, she said: “This is my mum’s room and there’s a closet. Her boyfriend is moving in and they’re trying to give him a closet.”

She added: “So he broke down the wall to try and make it bigger and it turns out there’s a whole other side of the house.”

As reported in the Mirror, users have been sharing their thoughts on the discovery. TikTok user Cynthia Jones said: “I wish I could find another whole part of my house. I’m never lucky.”

Another user, Missa, stated: “I’d love to live in a house just to find a hidden room that would be fire.”

Another commented: “I’m over here thinking about why was it boarded up in the first place? What happened in that room?”

Others were debating the potential uses of the room which could be another bedroom or a “huge” walk-in-wardrobe, whereas some people were confused about how the family hadn’t found it before – especially since the space had windows.

The discovery follows a terrified homeowner deciding to lock up a secret room after finding it filled with creepy dolls.

In a similar fashion, the woman discovered the room while clearing out a wardrobe, three months after buying the house from an elderly woman.

The homeowner was left feeling anxious as it was found packed with antiques, including a headless doll and several Barbie dolls.
