Facundo Tello, an Argentine referee, hogged the headlines this past weekend after dishing out a whopping 10 red cards in a single match.
Tello was officiating in Argentina’s Champions Trophy final between Boca Juniors and Racing Club on Sunday night.

The first two red cards came deep into stoppage time with Tello dismissing both Villa (Boca Juniors) and Carbonero (Racing Club) with the scoreline at 1-1.
The real drama started in the final minutes of extra time after Carlos Alcarez scored and celebrated the goal in front of Boca Juniors fans.

Alcarez’s goal celebration infuriated Boca Juniors players who grabbed him by the hear and threw the ball at him in anger.
Tello then handed Alcarez his marching orders before sending off five Boca Juniors players for the little scuffle during the goal celebrations.

There were other casualties soon afterwards, and in total, Tello showed seven Boca Juniors players red cards while Racing Club had three sent off.
