The
first
season
of
WPL,
will
see
five
teams
battle
in
double
round-robin
format
in
the
league
stage
with
the
top
three
teams
heading
into
the
playoffs
–
Eliminator
and
the
Final.
The
five
teams
competing
in
the
first-ever
WPL
are
familiar
names
Royal
Challengers
Bangalore,
Mumbai
Indians,
Delhi
Capitals
along
with
newcomers
Gujarat
Giants
and
UP
Warriorz.
The
table-topper
will
move
directly
to
the
final,
while
the
second
and
third-placed
teams
will
fight
for
a
summit
clash
berth
in
the
Eliminator.
WPL
2023
will
see
a
total
of
22
matches
played
across
two
venues
in
Mumbai
–
