inducted
by
Latin
American
legend
Konnan,
who
was
famous
for
his
stint
in
World
Championship
Wrestling
(WCW),
where
he
was
part
of
the
stables
Filthy
Animals
and
NWO.
Mysterio
to
headline
WWE
Hall
of
Fame
2023
In
Filthy
Animals,
Konnan
led
the
stable
that
also
included
Rey
Mysterio
and
the
late
Eddie
Gurrero
among
others.
Konnan
and
Rey
remained
part
of
the
stable
in
it’s
entirety.
So,
it’s
fitting
that
Konnan
inducts
Rey
into
the
Hall
of
Fame.
Rey
Mysterio
will
also
be
involved
in
a
fight
at
WrestleMania
39
after
he
accepted
his
own
son
Dominik
Mysterio’s
challenge
to
face
him
in
a
one-on-one
match
at
the
show
of
shows.
Another
wrestler,
who
was
famous
for
his
stint
in
WCW,
The
Great
Muta
will
also
be
inducted
into
the
individual
WWE
Hall
of
Fame
Class
of
2023.
The
Japanese
great
will
be
inducted
by
legendary
Ric
Flair.
Muta,
who
battled
the
likes
of
Sting,
Lex
Luger
and
even
“Stone
Cold”
Steve
Austin,
wrestled
for
over
39
years,
but
hung
up
his
boots
this
year,
facing
off
against
current
WWE
Superstar
Shinsuke
Nakamura
in
one
of
his
final
matches.
