WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus was also present on the show informing that she will be returning to action at the biggest event of the year.
Another Hall of Fame Edge was out for revenge against Finn Balor. Raw Women’s Champion was in action in a non-title match alongside The Bloodline members in separate singles matches.

– Kevin Owens defeated Solo Sikoa via DQ in the opening match of Raw after Jimmy Uso interfered. Owens landed a pair of superkicks and a cannonball before going descending off the top rope with a Swanton Bomb.
He went for a pin, but Jimmy broke the fall and began beating down Owens, causing the disqualification. Solo joined him but Sami Zayn came out to make the save for Owens.

– Bobby Lashley said in a promo that he went to SmackDown last week to confront Bray Wyatt man-to-man but Wyatt sent Uncle Howdy to do his dirty work. Lashley still didn’t know what it will take for Bray to confront him like a man.
– RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair defeated Carmella (with Chelsea Green) with ease via her KOD finisher. After the match, Carmella and Chelsea Green attacked Bianca.
Asuka came out to make the save. She suddenly spat blue mist in Chelsea’s face before she left the scene.

– In a backstage segment, Kevin Owens told Sami Zayn still couldn’t appear on the same page to take out The Bloodline.
– The Miz hosted a face-off between Seth Rollins and Logan Paul where the duo agreed to compete in a match at WrestleMania 39. The two also got involved in a brawl which ended with Logan knocking out Seth with a punch.

– Omos (with MVP) defeated Dolph Ziggler in quick seconds with a Tree-slam. After the match, MVP warned Brock Lesnar for putting his hands on him as Omos will face him at WrestleMania 39.
– In a backstage segment, Paul Heyman inspired Jimmy Uso to take out Sami Zayn in the main event of Raw. He also reminded Jimmy to bring his brother Jey Uso on Smackdown or else, Roman Reigns will blame him for that.
– Johnny Gargano (with Dexter Lumis) defeated Finn Balor (with Judgment Day members) after Edge interfered in the match and pushed Balor off the top rope. Gargano spiked Balor with One Final Beat for the pin to win.
After the match, Dexter Lumis attacked Damian Priest as Edge entered the ring and cut Balor in half with a Spear.

– In a follow-up backstage interview, Edge said that he’ll meet Finn Balor in the ring next week as he intended to answer Balor’s WrestleMania 39 challenge, face-to-face.
– WWE confirmed a new pay-per-view / premium live event for May 27: WWE King & Queen Of The Ring set from Saudi Arabia.
– Piper Niven defeated Nikki Cross in a short match with her Loch Ness Slam finisher.
– John Cena made his return on Raw and got emotional. United States Champion Austin Theory was quick to come out and confront him. Theory had a gift for Cena – a match against him at WrestleMania 39 for the United States Championship.
Cena turned down the match offer and blasted him for becoming a “Cena wannabe.” Theory hit back by asking whether John Cena was giving up on a WrestleMania opportunity.
Cena asked the fans in Boston if they want to see this match at WrestleMania 39. The crowd cheered and Cena responded by saying that he had never disappointed and given up on the fans.
John Cena vs. Austin Theory was then made official for the United States Championship at WrestleMania 39. Before he left, John Cena introduced Cody Rhodes. Cody and Cena hugged on the ramp and Cena raised the arm of The American Nightmare.
– Chad Gable (with Otis) defeated Baron Corbin by tapping him out with the Ankle Lock submission.
– Trish Stratus and new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Lita and Becky Lynch confronted DAMAGE CTRL (Bayley, Dakota Kai, and IYO SKY) in the ring.
Trish informed Bayley that she’s coming out of retirement at WrestleMania 39. She then issued a challenge for a six-woman tag team match at the show of shows which Bayley accepted. The babyface team then took out the heels to stand tall.

– Sami Zayn defeated Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champion Jimmy Uso (with Solo Sikoa) in the main event match of Raw. In the finishing sequence, Jey Uso appeared out of nowhere and stood at the commentary table. Sami took advantage and rolled up Jimmy for the win.

Jey Uso hugged Sami but then turned on him by superkick-ing him. Jey, Jimmy, and Solo Sikoa then beat up Sami which led to Cody Rhodes coming out to make the save. The heels retreated from the ring as Raw went off the air.
