As seen on this week’s episode of Raw, WWE Official Adam Pearce kicked things off and announced that the SmackDown Women’s Championship was converting to the Women’s World Championship. The Champion Rhea Ripley then received the new title.
Ripley and her on-screen boyfriend Dominik were celebrating in the ring when Cody Rhodes came to interrupt and mentioned that Brock Lesnar was too coward to accept his challenge for a fight.
Cody then proceeded to challenge Dominik Mysterio to a match at Money in the Bank 2023. Ripley and Dom were having a discussion when The Miz then tried to attack Cody from behind.
Even Dom got a cheap shot on Cody before escaping the ring after which Ripley accepted the challenge on Dominik’s behalf. Thereafter Cody Rhodes vs. Dominik was made official for Money in the Bank 2023.

This seems to be a one-off feud for Cody as the long-term storyline with Lesnar still continues on Raw. The recent reports indicate that the two will again meet in a stipulated match at Summerslam 2023 in August.
Dominik’s Judgment Day buddy Damian Priest is also heading to Money in the Bank as he will compete in the Men’s MITB ladder match on the night. During Raw, he defeated Matt Riddle in a qualifier to confirm his spot.
One week after coming up short against Seth Rollins in a World Heavyweight Championship match, Priest picked up a clean pin-fall win over the former WWE Raw Tag Team Champion to earn an opportunity to go back to the World Title hunt.
With Priest’s inclusion, the six participants for the Men’s Money in the Bank 2023 ladder match are set and the field also includes LA Knight, Ricochet, Shinsuke Nakamura, Santos Escobar, and Butch.

The 2023 Money in the Bank Premium Live Event will take place at the O2 Arena in London, England. The current match card for the show coming out of this week’s Raw goes as follows,
