The MITB 2023 also marks the final PLE stop for the two biggest brands of the promotion before the summer’s biggest event – SummerSlam 2023. This will be the first time the MITB PLE is held outside the United States and the first major WWE event in UK since Insurrextion 2002.

The 14th edition of the MITB PLE will be headlined by the traditional gimmick-based ladder matches – featuring multiple superstars from the men’s and women’s division with a future title opportunity up for grabs.

Seven superstars from the men’s category have confirmed their spots in the MITB ladder match, while six women have been confirmed for their match, but a few slots could be filled in the two shows in the lead up to the PLE.

Apart from the two gimmick based fights, several title bouts including the World Heavyweight Championship, Women’s Tag Team Championship and Intercontinental Champions matches will take place during the event.

World Heavyweight Champion Seth “Freakin” Rollins will defend the title against Finn Balor, while Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler put the Women’s Tag Team titles on the line against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez.

Intercontinental champion Gunther defends the title against Matt Riddle. Also, a couple of rivalries will culminate at the event with the Bloodline Civil War set to take center stage as Roman Reigns, Solo Sikao and the Usos look face off, while Cody Rhodes meets Dominik Mysterio.

The event is set to take place on Saturday (July 1) at the O2 Arena in London, United Kindom. However, due to time difference, the event will take place in the early hours of Sunday (July 2) in India.
