During this week’s episode of Raw, Celebrity YouTuber and former MMA performer Logan Paul returned to the WWE and was featured in a promo session where he informed the fans about competing in the Money in the Bank ladder match.
Ricochet and Shinsuke Nakamura interrupted after which SmackDown Superstar LA Knight came out and roasted all three men in the ring. Two more SmackDown stars joined the ring – Santos Escobar of The LWO and Butch of The Brawling Brutes.
As expected, a brawl broke out in the ring involving all these men. Logan was the last man standing in the ring. Logan then also set up a ladder in the ring, climbed it, and posed with the Money in the Bank briefcase.
After his big announcement on Raw, Logan also commented on this big match, his first-time outing in a ladder match in the WWE. Per his comments, the Money in the Bank win will be a shortcut route for him to the WWE Championship win.
“I think I’d like a WWE Championship on my resume. I don’t really like following the traditional path – so I’m gonna take the shortcut, take that briefcase, cash it in, beat whoever I have to.”
The Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match will be Logan’s overall sixth match in his WWE career. His last match took place at the grandest stage of WrestleMania 39 against Seth Rollins, back in April.
Earlier this year, Logan eliminated Rollins from the Men’s Royal Rumble match to begin the program with Rollins. Eventually, The Visionary emerged victorious at Wrestlemania and later became the inaugural World Heavyweight Champion at Night of Champions.
Rollins will also be in action at Money in the Bank as he will put the world title on the line against Finn Balor. Rollins’ scheduled Open Challenge was canceled on Raw due to Balor’s attack.
The 2023 WWE Money in the Bank Premium Live Event goes down, Saturday, July 1 from the O2 Arena in London, England. The currently confirmed match card for the PLE is given below:
