WWE Raw: Summerslam stipulation match, Logan Paul’s return & more set for July 24

During this week’s episode of Raw, Becky Lynch appeared on Miz TV and called out Trish Stratus. As the latter appeared in the ring, Becky was quick to ask her for a rematch. Trish agreed to it but she had some conditions.

The WWE Hall of Famer mentioned how Becky failed to defeat Zoey Stark, last week. So she’ll have to do that first in another bout that’ll be waiting for next week on Monday Night Raw.

Trish then said if Becky loses to Stark, again then Becky will have to go down on her knees and say “Thank You, Trish.” The stipulation also says that Becky will have to tattoo the same words on her chest.

Becky agreed to the terms and conditions and the match with Summerslam implications was on for next week. Shortly after the verbal segment was over, Trish and Zoey proceeded to attack Becky.

Utilising the numbers game, the heel duo initially capitalized but Becky fought back and took off Trish’s face protective mask. Becky donned the mask herself and downed Zoey with a headbutt with it.

Becky and Trish first squared off in a WWE ring at Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia where Zoey Stark’s involvement cost Becky the match. The two were also part of the Money in the Bank Ladder Match, earlier this month.

Those earlier face-offs were destined to set up a final match at Summerslam and WWE is taking the predicted route. Hopefully, the final bout of this ongoing feud will be declared next week on Raw.

The 2023 WWE Summerslam premium live event takes place Saturday, August 5 at the Detroit Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan. Following this week’s Raw the below-given three matches are set for the PLE:

– WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match: Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor

– Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar

– Ronda Rousey vs. Shayna Baszler

Two more matches for Summerslam 2023 could be made, official on the July 24 episode of Raw when Logan Paul returns to continue his feud with Ricochet and Drew McIntyre confronts the Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER.

Ricochet already issued a challenge to Logan Paul last week on Raw for a match and The Maverick will be there on Raw, next week in Tampa to address it. Logan previously denied a match against the high-flyer at Summerslam.

As for Drew McIntyre, he returned to WWE TV at Money in the Bank and downed GUNTHER with a Claymore Kick, making his intentions clear. With a confrontation set with the champion, the two are likely to get booked in a match at summer’s biggest event.
