Bobby Lashley was left covered in blood twice during WWE SmackDown as he fought in two high stakes matches.

The All Mighty won a Triple Threat over Sheamus and United States Champion Austin Theory before falling short against AJ Styles in the main event as the World Heavyweight Championship tournament continued.

Despite missing out on a spot against Seth Rollins in the final at Night of Champions in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on May 27, Lashley made an impression on viewers.

He suffered a nasty cut on his head in the early match, with blood pouring out.

Then, the wound reopened during the main event as the former world champion again found himself bleeding heavily.

Viewers were shocked by the blood, which comes after Jacy Jayne and Brock Lesnar made waves on NXT and Backlash respectively as they also ended up bleeding during recent matches.

‘Bobby is bleeding again. He about to go from 0 to 100,’ wrote one viewer, as another asked: ‘Now bobby bleeding?….is this still pg lol?’

‘Bobby bleeding is such a badass look,’ pointed out another fan, while a fourth person compared Lashley to All Elite Wrestling (AEW) star Jon Moxley, who can frequently be seen bleeding on television.

They tweeted: ‘Bobby bleeding two times in one night. He said “Jon Moxley hold my beer” ????’

Lashley didn’t win the SmackDown main event, which means AJ Styles will face Seth Rollins in the final to determine a new WWE World Heavyweight Champion, who will be exclusive to Monday Night Raw.

The red brand was left needing its own world champ as Roman Reigns’ historic run with the Undisputed WWE Universal Title continues with its 1,000 day approaching at Night of Champions later this month.

WWE Night of Champions airs on May 27, 2023 live from Saudi Arabia. Tune in via the WWE Network.
