The
headliner
of
all
headliners
for
the
39th
installment
of
WrestleMania
will
witness
Roman
Reigns
defending
his
Undisputed
WWE
Universal
Championship
against
Cody
Rhodes
in
the
main
event
of
Night
Two.
Cody
was
out
of
action
from
the
WWE
since
the
2022
Hell
in
a
Cell
pay-per-view
event
after
suffering
a
torn
pectoral
muscle.
He
then
returned
at
Royal
Rumble
PLE
back
in
January
to
win
the
Men’s
Rumble
match
to
punch
his
ticket
to
WrestleMania.
This
match
is
a
long-time
coming
as
WWE
built
The
Tribal
Chief
and
The
American
Nightmare
as
the
top
heel
and
top
babyface
superstars
of
the
roster,
respectively.
From
that
point,
it
makes
sense
that
Cody
eventually
dethrones
Reigns
from
his
title
reign.
However,
current
updates
suggest
that
WWE’s
Head
of
the
Table
might
just
continue
with
his
history-making
title
reign
that
has
just
surpassed
the
incredible
900-day
landmark.
Xero
News
reports
that
WWE
has
a
plan
which
calls
for
Roman
Reigns
to
keep
one
of
his
Titles
intact
during
the
upcoming
Draft,
and
drop
the
other
one.
Going
by
this,
Cody
won’t
be
the
one
to
take
the
undisputed
title
away
from
the
reigning
champ.
The
same
source
has
also
noted
that
the
2023
WWE
Draft
will
return
to
TV
following
shortly
after
WrestleMania
39:
“Draft
will
be
either
a
week
or
two
after
WrestleMania.
However,
some
want
to
wait
until
after
Backlash
to
get
rematches
out
the
way.”

added
that
during
the
WWE
Draft,
the
top
two
currently
unified
world
titles
will
finally
be
split.
The
WWE
Title
and
the
Universal
Title
will
have
their
distinct
identities.
This
will
allow
WWE
to
have
separate
Men’s
World
Champions
on
both
Raw
and
Smackdown
brands
following
WrestleMania
39,
unlike
Roman
Reigns’ undisputed
title
reign
that
started
by
defeating
Brock
Lesnar,
last
year
at
the
Show
of
Shows.
WWE
WrestleMania
