Paras Kalnawat quits Anupamaa: It came as a shock when Paras Kalnawat quit the popular TV show Anupamaa to participate in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10. Paras played the role of Samar in Rupali Ganguly starrer Anupamaa. His contract was terminated by the show’s makers due to a breach of contract. In his defence, Paras told ETimes, “I wanted to do both the shows together, Anupamaa and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. I was not aware that the channel or Rajan sir might have issues with the rival channel in a way that they won’t allow me to do Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa while being in Anupamaa.” The actor added that his growth had stopped in the show.
