Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai written update Aug 25: Akshara moves to Mauritius; Abhimanyu leaves his medical practice

The latest episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is going to be a grand shocker for all the fans. The show skips one year during which dramatic changes happen in Abhimanyu and Akshara’s lives. Akshara has left Abhimanyu and is a professional singer now. Abhimanyu has quit his medical practice and participates in certain violent competitions to release his anger. Akshara sings for Maya

In the previous episode, we last saw Dr. Kunal Khera make an absurd request to Akshara. Akshara is left with the dilemma to choose between her and her husband’s careers. In this episode, we see that she ends up choosing Abhimanyu’s life and career. Dr. Kunal performs the surgery on his hand and Akshara leaves him there without any explanation. One year later, we see Akshara in Mauritius recording a song. However, there is a twist in the story.

Akshara is singing for Dr. Kunal’s sister Maya. Maya’s song, or so to say Akshara’s song, is going to be released soon. It comes as a shock to Akshara that the song will be played in India as well and she is afraid that Abhimanyu will listen to her voice and recognise it. Abhimanyu leaves medicine

Akshara leaves Abhimanyu without any notice because as per Dr. Kunal’s condition, she couldn’t tell anyone about her choice to become the voice for her sister to complete her dream. When Abhimanyu gets out of surgery, he couldn’t find Akshara and believes that she broke her promise to be always there for him and left. Abhimanyu quits practice and gets involved in parties and adventurous activities that distract him from thinking of Akshara. When Harsh calls him to help him with his mental stress, Abhimanyu leaves stating that he would resume his practice once he is able to feel focussed again.

He is now participating in an event where he is supposed to prove his physical strength. He is leading the competition as he uses all his anger toward Akshara to perform all physically challenging activities. Interestingly, Maya’s song is supposed to be released at the same event and Akshara watches the broadcast of the event miles away in Mauritius. Unfortunately, the two could never spot each other and the misunderstandings continue.

In the upcoming episodes, we will see how Abhimanyu gets violent with a reporter over questions regarding Akshara’s whereabouts.
