There have been reports modern cowboy story Yellowstone will be wrapping up with the upcoming second half of season five.
The last episodes will be coming out in November on the Paramount Network, according to Deadline but luckily for Yellowstone fans, this isn’t the end of the franchise.
The report suggests an untitled sequel is in the works, which was given a full series order and will be coming out in December.
There were previous reports True Detective star Matthew McConaughey could be attached to the project but these have yet to be confirmed.
Express.co.uk has approached Paramount for comment on this story.

Season two of 1923 got the go-ahead in February this year with eight more episodes in the pipeline to round off the story.
Sheridan’s Yellowstone universe continues to expand with a spin-off to 1883 filming earlier this year, titled Bass Reeves.
A further prequel series called 1944 will be serving as a follow on to 1923 and is reportedly in development.
Finally, there is 6666 which is a contemporary drama set on the Four Sixes Ranch in Texas the show is expected to be airing this year.
The Texas ranch has already made appearances in seasons four and five of Yellowstone and the forthcoming series could be a spiritual successor to Yellowstone.
