The Beth Dutton star continued: “She’s so protective of John and she does see Summer as someone who’s sort of an enemy.
“Because she doesn’t see Summer as someone who sees or appreciates or understands at all what this world is or who he is.”
Reilly went on to discuss one of the duo’s first scenes together, an extremely tense breakfast.
“Then suddenly she’s having breakfast with her and, you know, Beth can be cruel and Beth can be mean,” Reilly added. “I mean, Beth needs to go to therapy and really figure that out (laughs).
“You do not wanna be on the wrong side of Beth. If she considers you an enemy to her father or her or anyone she loves, she will destroy you.”
