You can currently bag Forest of Dean glamping breaks from £43 a night

Forest of Dean glamping pod breaks are currently going from £43 a night complete with access to a swimming pool, sauna, gym and on-site restaurant – and there are dates through to May available

If you’ve been thinking of treating yourself to a glamping break in the British countryside this spring, then you may want to check out a new deal for a staycation in the spectacular Forest of Dean.

That’s because Groupon currently has an offer on glamping pod stays for two people at the Whitemead Forest Park, with prices from £43 a night.

You can get overnight stays from £49, two-night stays from £45 and three-night stays from £43.

That includes a stay in a furnished glamping pod with a kitchenette area, heating, toilet and hand basin, and even a flat screen TV for a cosy night in when the British weather isn’t playing ball.

You can already book the Groupon deal here but it’s worth noting the deal is subject to availability. The booking is also non-refundable.

When we took a look there were still dates available for booking through to May 2022, so there’s ample opportunity to snap up a bargain if you’re looking to book in a mini break before the peak school holiday seasons.

The package also includes access to showers in a 5* toilet block, as well as on-site amenities including an indoor swimming pool, spa pools, a sauna and steam room, a gym and outdoor picnic areas.

The site also has a shop with all the basic essentials you need, as well as an on-site restaurant with breakfast, lunch, dinner and takeaway options.

If you want a glamping pod with a shower, you can contact the site direct to arrange, although this comes with an extra cost of £15 per night. Meanwhile the site is pet-friendly but again this will come with an extra cost of £10 per pet, per night.
