More than two dozen expert pizzaiolos produce each pizza pie in the family-owned Naples factory using locally grown, all-natural ingredients (no preservatives) from suppliers in southern Italy. They knead the dough, add the ingredients, place it in wood-burning ovens and monitor them one by one.

Then, they are flash-frozen and vacuum-sealed to be shipped around the world. The secret to the fresh taste, says Edouard Freda, founder and CEO of Talia di Napoli, is taking the pizza from the oven to a patented cryogenic freezer in less than 90 seconds to preserve its flavor.

Now the brand is launching a loyalty program with perks that include free pizza and even free travel. The ultimate perk is a trip for two to Naples, Italy. Along the way, members can cash in their points for discounts, free products and other experiences.

According to Freda, “We wanted to treat our community to more than just the standard discounts, giving them even more access to the culture of Naples through products and curated experiences. Some of the brands I admire most are ones with great loyalty programs, so I’m excited for Talia to offer that added value to our loyal customers.”

The points-based program is free to join, and you can accumulate points without even making a purchase. The fastest way for earning points though is through pizza purchases and reviewing Talia di Napoli products online.

Tier levels

The cleverly named elite status tiers are Bite, Slice and Pie. You can earn points without making a purchase by signing up for an online account, following the brand’s social media accounts on Instagram and TikTok, signing up for its SMS program and adding your birthday to your profile. Each year on your birthday, you’ll also receive 300 bonus points as a gift.

Members can earn bonus points for product reviews as well as sharing photos and videos while enjoying the pizza. Another free way to earn points is by taking online surveys about product development or personal experiences. You’ll earn 1x point per dollar spent on Talia di Napoli purchases.

The Bite VIP tier is the entry-level category, and to reach Slice, you’ll need to spend $400 within the calendar year. Bite members earn 2x points per dollar spent on pizza purchases, and on their birthday, they receive a 400 point bonus. Top-tier Pie members must spend $1,100 per calendar year on purchases, but receive 4x points per dollar spent and a 500 point bonus on their birthday each year.

Perks up for grabs

The range of rewards will appeal to those looking for a discount as well as those wanting to win prizes or even a free trip. Just keep in mind that points expire one year after earning them. Branded apparel and discounts are available for redemption at different levels. For example, 500 points is good for a $15 discount on Talia di Napoli products. The range continues from $30 off for 1,250 points all the way up to $75 off for 2,600 points.

You can also redeem points for products. A free toppings trio pack (sundried tomatoes in extra virgin olive oil, truffle honey and Calabrian hot chilis) is available for 500 points. A double pack of prosciutto goes for 750 points, and for 6,000 points you can earn a Tovala Smart Oven Pro. It’s a toaster oven with chef-tested presets that lets you air fry or steam things. You can also use it to scan the bar code of a pizza, and the oven will determine the amount of time needed to bake it.

Refer friends to the program, and each successful signup earns a $20 redemption toward a future Talia di Napoli purchase.
