Zenith To Auction One-Of-A-Kind Chronomaster Watch To Benefit Susan G. Komen Center

Zenith watch is teaming up with Phillips auction house this year to sell a one-of-a-kind watch to benefit the Susan G. Komen center for cancer research. Susan G. Komen is active in education and support for patients undergoing treatment, helping to highlight stories of breast cancer survivors. It also advocates for patients, drives research breakthroughs, improves access to high-quality care and offers direct patient support.

Zenith says 100% of proceeds from the sale of the Zenith Chronomaster Original Pink timepiece will go to support the Susan G. Komen organization. This is the second year in a row Zenith has created a pink watch for the cause. Last October, which is earmarked as Breast Cancer Month, it released the Chronomaster Original Pink special edition, priced at $10,000, with 20% of proceeds donated to Susan G. Komen. It is part of Zenith’s overall HORIZ-ON initiative to raise awareness about breast cancer, a disease that affects one in every eight women.

This year, it created a one-of-a-kind Chronomaster Original Pink with diamond-set lugs, which will be auctioned by Phillips, with full proceeds going to Susan G. Komen. The watch is a version the brand’s iconic A386, with the latest generation of the brand’s signature high-frequency El Primero automatic movement. It’s a chronograph caliber that measures elapsed time to one-tenth of a second. The 38mm case is stainless steel and the dial is metallic pink, honoring the color globally associated with breast cancer awareness. The lugs are set with diamonds. The watch comes with the offer of an additional strap of the winning bidder’s choosing, as well as a certificate stating the watch’s uniqueness. The auction, to be held by Phillips in Association with Bacs & Russo, is part of the New York Watch Auction Eight, to be held in New York on June 10-11. it is estimated to sell for between $8,000 and $16,000.
