Zion Williamson may be dealing with some off-court drama this week, but he still found the time to make a difference in the community.
The two-time NBA All-Star has partnered with schools in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana for the Summer Bridge program.
The program “will provide students with additional opportunities for accelerated learning and growth during the summer,” according to the New Orleans Pelicans.

Williamson posed for a photo to promote the partnership, his first public appearance since the off-court scenario involving an adult film actress emerged earlier this week.
Williamson also announced that he and his current partner were expecting a child, and that was when the drama began. Another woman, Moriah Mills, alleges Williamson was arranging for her to move to New Orleans.
Mills has shown text messages, screenshots and other pieces of evidence to support her claims against Williamson.
Mills has continued to provide that evidence over the course of the last several days, despite no acknowledgment from Williamson.
As Williamson continues to work toward a return on the court after missing most of the 2022-23 season, it seems that he’s been able to stay busy with community work and with the impending birth of his first child.
Hopefully he’s able to leave the rest of the drama behind.
