The New Orleans Pelicans drafted Zion Williamson with the No.1 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft.
Based on his surreal talent and crazy athleticism, it’s easy to see why. But three years into his NBA career, durability has been an issue. Williamson has played fewer than 30 games in his first season and this past year.
Now heading into his fourth year, Williamson is finally ready to make the necessary adjustments.
“Bron got the blueprint, I’m just doing my best to follow it,” Williamson said when asked if his summer has been more cardio- or diet-focused on Gil’s Arena Show.

During his three seasons with the Pelicans, Williamson averaged 25.8 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.6 assists on 60.5 percent shooting from the field, and 34.3 percent from long distance.
Williamson has been everything as advertised on the court, but the problem is avoiding the injury bug.
