Woody Cook got into a spot of bother with some Glastonbury security guards after crowd surfing on a blow-up mattress during his dad’s set.

The DJ revealed he got a telling off during the gig as the BBC coverage caught the 22-year-old on camera crowd surfing on the inflatable mattress.

“I climb on this air mattress and it’s like a magic carpet ride,” he told The Sun.

Woody continued: “I’m waving at my dad and the BBC coverage caught me, so I’m now on the iPlayer riding a giant inflatable mattress.

“A security man comes over and people were going, ‘No, he’s with Norman’, and I realised I was getting nicked.”

The Circle star claimed the security had been quite “aggressive” as they attempted to “drag” him off of the mattress but Woody was admittedly “hammered” at this point.

But once realisation kicked in that he was the son of the famed DJ Fatboy Slim the security guard in question wanted to get a photo instead.

Woody said it was a “surreal” moment and he later managed to get back in the crowd where he set off a smoke grenade.

He added: “I saw my dad afterwards and my mum was working there.”

The DJ, otherwise known as Fatboy Slim, married Zoe in 1999 and they went on to welcome two children, Woody and 13-year-old Nelly.

However in 2016, the pair announced that they had “come to the end of our rainbow” after 18 years of marriage.

The former couple are still on good terms as the musician appeared on her BBC Radio 2 breakfast show on the Friday ahead of his set at Glastonbury.

During their chat, Zoe poked fun at her ex-husband before she paused and admitted she “almost forget” his DJ name.
