Former No. 1-ranked tennis player Ana Ivanovic posed for the SI Swimsuit Issue in 2010. She traveled to a New York studio for the feature, where she modeled for photographer Marlena Bielinska.
Two years before her feature with the magazine, Ivanovic won the French Open. Throughout her career as a professional athlete, the Serbian native won 14 additional WTA titles and eventually retired from her sport in ’16.
“I feel like a different person out there,” Ivanovic gushed at the time of her SI Swimsuit photo shoot. “You know, the attitude to pose in certain positions and I just tried to feel as comfortable as I can.”
Today, Ivanovic is married to former German soccer player Bastian Schweinsteiger. They exchanged vows in Italy the same year Ivanovic retired. The couple share two boys and are currently expecting their third child. Ivanovic announced the exciting news that they are expanding their family earlier this month on Instagram.
In addition to family life, Ivanovic is founder of Ana Ivanovic Natural Performance, a sustainable and organic skincare and cosmetics line. She is also a UNICEF ambassador and a spokesperson for Adidas.
