The Crown‘s Emma Corrin will return to our screens as a Gen Z amateur sleuth in new whodunnit A Murder At the End Of The World.

It’s a seven-episode ride with serious White Lotus vibes and the Lady Chatterley’s Lover star at the centre of the action – intrigued yet? As well as Emma, one of the series’ biggest stars is undoubtedly The OA‘s Brit Marling, who co-created, directed and starred in the show. Wow.

Here’s everything you need to know about A Murder At The End Of The World, including when it comes out and where to watch it.

What is A Murder At The End Of The World about?

The plot synopsis reads as follows: “A Murder at the End of the World is a mystery series with a new kind of detective at the helm — a Gen Z amateur sleuth and tech-savvy hacker named Darby Hart.

“Darby and eight other guests are invited by a reclusive billionaire to participate in a retreat at a remote and dazzling location. When one of the other guests is found dead, Darby must use all of her skills to prove it was murder against a tide of competing interests and before the killer takes another life.”

We can’t wait to see Emma as an amateur sleuth, what a role (and look) for them.

Who has been cast in A Murder At The End Of The World?

Alongside Emma, we will see Clive Owen (Closer, King Arthur) play the billionaire host Andy, and co-creator Brit Marling will also play a major role named Lee.

The stellar cast also includes Alice Braga (The Suicide Squad), Neal Huff (The Sinner), Kellan Tetlow (This Is Us), Joan Chen (Tigertail), Ryan J. Haddad (The Politician), Pegah Ferydoni (Almania), Britian Seibert (The Knick), Javed Khan, Louis Cancelmi (Killers of the Flower Moon), Edoardo Ballerini (Elementary), Christopher Gurr (The Good Fight) and Daniel Olson (Our Flag Means Death).

What are the team behind A Murder At The End Of The World saying about it so far?

John Landgraf – the chairman of FX the network the show was produced for – has spoken out about the show’s “radical reconceptualisation of whodunnit”, as well as the relevance of a strong female main character.
