Actor Anushka Sharma opened up about her pregnancy cravings when she was expecting daughter Vamika Kohli. The actress revealed the one thing she would crave for a lot during her pregnancy. Anushka and her husband, cricketer Virat Kohli welcomed their first child, daughter Vamika Kohli in January 2021.

The Chakda Xpress actress recently attended an event in the city where she met moms. At the event, Anushka engaged in conversation with other mothers and shared anecdotes from her personal journey too. She opened up about her pregnancy journey. Anushka Sharma shared what she craved for the most during her pregnancy, when she was expecting her daughter Vamika Kohli.

At the event, speaking about pregnancy cravings, Sharma said, “I thought this was a big lie. I was like, ‘why do they go on about these pregnancy cravings? Why am I not having any?’ Because I didn’t.”

She further added, “But then came one stage where I was getting obsessed with vada pav. I just wanted to dabao vada pavs as much as I could (laughs). So I had a lot of vada pav. Luckily living in Mumbai it’s not very hard. So yes, vada pav it was.”

Meanwhile, it was only recently when Vamika Kohli turned 2. Anushka took to her Instagram to share a warm photo of her, with her little one. The actress shared the unseen photo and cherished memories as she celebrated her daughter’s birthday.

Sharing the photo with Vamika, the Chakda Xpress actress wrote, “Two years ago my heart grew wide open.“

Speaking about the actress on the work front, Anushka will be seen in the movie Chakda Xpress. The film is based on cricketer Jhulan Goswami. And, with the movie Chakda Xpress, Sharma makes her comeback after a long break.
