Are these NYX The Brow Glues about to change your brow game forever?

When I read the word ‘Glue’ in NYX Professional Makeup Brow Glue I can’t lie, I was slightly dubious. I’m a natural brow gal all the way, opting for ‘barely there’ products that don’t leave my brows feeling crispy or overly saturated with product. With that in mind I applied it sparingly, swiping up to create a feathered brow finish. I shouldn’t have worried, because it sets just right and vitally, didn’t feel heavy on my brows. 

The spoolie brush made this a dream to apply and a little goes a long way, letting me create soap-like brows in an instant while ensuring they stayed firmly in place through the day without looking overdone. I loved the laminated-esque finish you can achieve with this — an easy win for elevating daily makeup. Brows that stay firmly in place while still looking soft? Tick, and tick. I’ll definitely be going back to this one.

I am a big big fan of eyebrow gel, especially the formulas that have a bit of colour to them (to save me the time of filling in with a pencil), and NYX’s The Brow Glue is exactly that. It kept my hairs in place all day, but didn’t feel stiff on the dry down whatsoever, plus the brush is nice and small so you can really take your time to shape and sculpt. One thing I will say is there wasn’t as much colour payoff as I’d have liked and the bottle is super small, hence me knocking off a couple of points, but it won’t stop me from reaching for it on my no-makeup-makeup days.

I was really impressed by the NYX Brow Glue in the shade Black. I don’t normally use eyebrow products, so as a beginner, it was easy for me to use it with just a few simple strokes. There was also no mess, was non-sticky on my brows, and subtly enhanced the rest of my make-up in a matter of seconds. Plus, the colour wasn’t too intense or pigmented, making it the perfect dark shade for my hair colour. Good things can really come in small packages.
