Ayushmann Khurrana pens an emotional note as he remembers late father’s words ‘Maa ka khayal rakhna hai’

Actor Ayushmann Khurrana and Aparshakti Khurrana’s father P Khurrana passed away on May 19, owing to a prolonged incurable ailment. Ayushmann and his brother and actor Aparshakti Khurrana even performed their last rites in the city. Now, post his demise, Ayushmann made his first post which is an emotional note about his father. The note was backed with some pictures from the prayer meet. In one of the pictures, we got to see the entire family praying.

Ayushmann Khurrana pens a heartfelt note for his father

Sharing the pictures on Instagram, the Vicky Donor actor wrote, “‘Maa ka khayal rakhna hai aur humesha saath rehna hai.’ ‘Pita jaisa banne ke liye bahut duur jaana padta hai apne pita se.’ Pehli baar aisa mehsoos ho raha hai ki papa bahut duur aur bahut qareeb hain humare. Thank you for your upbringing, love, sense of humour and the most beautiful memories.”

Reacting to the post, Arjun Kapoor commented, “His aura was strong and calm… always loved interacting with him… strength with u all.” whereas Bhumi Pednekar said “Sending you tons of love.” Several other celebs like Mouni Roy, Sunil Grover, Dia Mirza, Neha Dhupia and many more expressed their grief in the comment section.

Official announcement after P Khurrana death:

The Khurrana family issued an official statement on the same. It read, “It’s with our deep sadness to inform that Ayushmann and Aparshakti Khurana’s father, Astrologer P Khurana passed away this morning at 10:30 am in Mohali, owing to a prolonged incurable ailment. We are indebted for all your prayers and support during this time of personal loss.”

Tahira Kashyap Khurrana also penned a heartfelt note on Instagram along with some memories with her late father-in-law. A part of her note read, “Breaks my heart to not have the hero around to the boy I love the most. I haven’t met perhaps never will meet someone like you. I will never forgot your laughter, we’ll miss you papa.”

Ayushmann Khurrana and Aparshakti Khurrana’s father P Khurana was a renowned astrologer from Chandigarh.
