Shannon Sharpe is once again courtside for a game between the Memphis Grizzlies and Los Angeles Lakers.
The Washington Post‘s Ben Golliver spotted the former NFL tight end sitting in the front row at Crypto.com Arena ahead of Monday night’s Game 4. His presence is particularly notable since Sharpe had a heated exchange with several Grizzlies players — and Ja Morant’s father — during a regular-season game at Los Angeles earlier this year.
Following January’s incident, fans are getting their popcorn ready for more drama.

Security escorted Sharpe from his seat on January 20 after going back and forth with Ja Morant, Tee Morant, Dillon Brooks, and others. The Fox Sports personality called the Grizzlies “fools” when speaking to ESPN’s Dave McMenamin that night.
“They do all that talking and jockeying and I ain’t about that jockeying,” Sharpe said. “It started with Dillon Brooks. I said he was too small to guard LeBron. He said, ‘F— me.’ I said, ‘F— you’ back. He started to come at me, and I said, ‘You don’t want these problems.’ And then Ja came out of nowhere talking. He definitely didn’t want these problems. Then the dad came and he obviously didn’t want no problems.”
We’ll all have to see if Sharpe and the Grizzlies want any problems Monday night. The Lakers have a 2-1 lead in the first-round series entering Game 4, which is about to tip off on TNT.
