Britain’s Got Talent returned to ITV with the final 10 contestants taking to the stage.

Musa Motha, Amy Lou, Viggo Venn, Olivia Lynes, Ghetto Kids, Travis George, Malakai Bayoh, Duo Odyssey, Lillianna Clifton and Cillian O’Connor were all hoping to impress the judges one last time.

The top three acts as voted for by people at home were dancer Lillianna, magician Cillian and comedian Viggo.

After a hilarious performance, it was Viggo who won over the hearts of the nation and the judges.

After hearing their name, they said: “I feel extremely invincible right now, thank you so much.

“I have captured not just the heart of Britain but the heart of Simon.

“Thanks everyone so much who voted for me.”

The audience were chanting for more as the song “One More Time” played again and Viggo danced around the stage.

After sliding across the floor he knocked Ant McPartlin off of his feet.

Finishing in third place was Cillian, who was almost close to tears as he said: “Absolutely amazing. Thank you everyone, it’s been an incredible journey.”

Finishing in second place was Lillianna who said: “It’s just so amazing because of all the support I had.”

Commenting on the results, viewers took to Twitter to share their thoughts with D E A N fuming: “So all you have got to do to win @BGT and £250,000 is dress up as a bin man and prance about the stage!?!? I am lost for words.”

Vithun agreed: “I can’t help feeling a little underwhelmed. The last two #BGT finals have been really strong only to be won by mid-comedy acts. His semi-final performance was potentially winner worthy but in the final, you could see Viggo was running out of material #BritainsGotTalent”

Ian D added: “I can only assume the voting was to take the p***. Not fair on those with talent though.”

Dazman shared: “Just imagine actually being talented and training for years to perfect your act just for a chance to go on #BGT only to come up short against a p*** dancing around on stage in a Hi-Vis jacket. It’s just shameful.  #BGTFinal #BGT2023”

Matthew Cox concluded: “What a waste of talent! For someone to jump around with a high vis! Joke! Programme finished, Lots won’t watch after this! Embarrassing #BGT”

In terms of who was odds-on to win the final, Musa was the firm favourite to win according to bookies William Hill.

The South African dancer was the 4/6 frontrunner going into the final, closely followed by Viggo at odds of 3/1.

Young singer Malakai Bayoh was in third place to win with odds of 7/2, with Ghetto Kids in fourth at 14/1.
