A 28-year-old pet parent, Jade Pursell was diving along with his friend and pet at Ningaloo Reef, Australia. While they were on their boat, they came across an inquisitive fish that swam up to their boat. This friendly white shark was so determined to say “Hello!” to Jade’s eight-year-old pup, Sailor that it took its head out of the water to get a kiss by the canine.

Canine Sailor was so fascinated by the huge creature in the water that he moved around the boat to see it and even leaned overboard to get a closer look. The white shark then took its head out of the water again, Sailor then touched her nose to the white shark’s snout.

While speaking to a local news agency, Jade stated that Sailor had never met a white shark before. Jade always hoped that one day she would get a chance to see a shark, but this incident turned out to be far better than what she had imagined.

Jade mentioned that she was telling Sailor to not touch it or go closer to it, but she did not listen to her. However, she was glad that Sailor did not jump into the water out of excitement. Sailor first sniffed the shark and then kissed it. She added saying that she was very happy to see Sailor meet a shark, she was overjoyed. She further mentioned that animals are incredible and their sudden meet couldn’t have gotten any better.

Earlier, Jade thought that the bubbles made by her diver friend attracted the white shark to their boat. But now she feels that the shark knew Sailor was on board and it wanted to meet her. She is not sure if it was the squeaking noise made by Sailor that attracted it or it could just sense her presence.
