Couple’s insane mid-air meltdown causing plane to turn around caught on video

A couple had a meltdown on a flight from Minneapolis to Los Angeles. A video of the frightening incident was shot by fellow passenger Patrick Wayland and aired on Inside Edition.

Seventy-five minutes after takeoff they started becoming unruly. It began when passenger Anna C. Koosmann tried to use the bathroom just after takeoff.

When the flight attendant asked her to sit down, she and her partner allegedly lost it. After the situation became alarming, the crew decided that they should force the Delta flight from Minneapolis to Los Angeles to turn around and return to Minneapolis after only 20 minutes.

Once back on the ground the police quickly boarded the flight to remove the two unruly passengers. As they took them into custody, the other passengers who were clearly relieved, started cheering.

This wasn’t well received and angered over the boyfriend, a Vice President at Citibank, who was so furious he punched a passenger.

The police pounced, throwing him onto the floor of the aircraft.  They could be heard shouting,  “Stay down, stay down”. “Stop resisting”.

The couple were still indignant when they were led off the plane with Koosmann asking, “Why, for what?”. They were charged with disorderly conduct.

A number of airplane meltdowns have made headlines recently. A few weeks ago a woman was videoed panicking on an aircraft while claiming another passenger was “not real”.

She told her fellow passengers: “I don’t give two f****, but I am telling you right now – that m*****f***** back there is not real. And you can sit on this plane and you can die with them or not. I’m not going to.”

And a video dubbed “demonic” by viewers has also done the rounds on Twitter.

The video shows a woman screaming during a flight. She shouts a number of expletives, including the word “b*tch”, while climbing between the seats on the plane.
