Dakota Johnson is back on her sheer bodysuit game and we’re obsessed

Dakota Johnson just put a twist on her favourite outfit combo.

On February 24, Johnson declared the death of skinny sunglasses when she attended the Gucci show at Milan Fashion Week in the brand’s sheer logo bodysuit with a matching black velvet skirt suit, leaning into ’70s inspo with calf-high leather boots and oversized, face-shielding sunnies. She wore her deep brown hair straight with a few textured layers and whispy peekaboo fringe, opting for a matte nude lip to top off the look.

Following the show, the brand ambassador restyled the bodysuit with a longer version of the first Gucci jacket and a pair of red leather straight-leg pants. Frankly, it’s giving Daisy Jones vibes in the best possible way.

A Gucci girl at heart, Dakota Johnson has been rocking different versions of this look since September 2021, when she attended the New York Film Festival premiere of her Netflix movie The Lost Daughter in a sheer black logo corset from the Italian fashion house with black leather pants. Then, in March 2022, she paid direct homage to her favourite fashion era in a nude version of the corset under a whimsical linen trouser suit—all Gucci, of course. Johnson took things even further at the 2022 Met Gala, wearing a full-length sheer lace bodysuit with sparkling fringe (I’ll let you guess the designer).

Frankly, this is how you establish a signature look without getting repetitive or boring. And that’s the truth, Ellen.
