The Denver Public Library wants your submissions for Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander recipes.
The Special Collections and Archives department is compiling a community cookbook — a digital and physical edition to be archived at the library — to celebrate Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month.
“We want to learn family recipes, family history and how the food connects with all those who submit,” Joe Gosalvez, Denver Public Library spokesman, said in a news release.
To submit, people can send recipes and photos using a print form available at any Denver library branch, by email to [email protected] or via the online form at denverlibrary.org/form/aa-nh-pi-community-cookbook.
The free cookbook will be available by Mid-Autumn Festival on Sept. 29.
