Rajshri exclusively broke the teaser of their upcoming film `Dono` digitally yesterday. The teaser opened to positive reviews and strong impressions. The teaser hinted at the story being of two strangers, who meet at one destination to discover the many shades of an urban relationship. The messaging of dealing with rejection and the value of self-love are some strong themes that make Dono a film to look forward to. The film marks the debut of Rajveer and Paloma as actors and Avnish Barjatya as director.
Rajveer Deol, son of beloved actor Sunny Deol and grandson of veteran actor Dharamendra, makes his debut as well as his mark with `Dono’s teaser that introduces him as Dev, friend of the dulhan. Lavish destination wedding visuals become the backdrop of the teaser where Rajveer has a charm of a cute guy next door. His performance looks effortless and earnest and his fresh pairing with actress Poonam Dhillon’s daughter, Paloma is garnering a lot of praise.

`Dono` is helmed by Rajshri’s next generation director Avnish S. Barjatya, who too have received a lot of love post the teaser drop. Bringing his first film to life, Avnish has breathed innocence and pureness of love into his story and visuals that have reached out to the audience.
Earlier, Avnish Barjatya had said in a statement, “Paloma is a powerful performer and has tremendous screen presence. She is the perfect fit for my character. Her immense work ethic and enthusiasm make it so exciting to be working with her every day. Paloma and Rajveer share great chemistry together on screen and play off each other really well. They have both seamlessly blended into their roles.”
Rajshri is all set to tell a love story of two strangers who have one destination. `Dono` will be repeating history of `Maine Pyar Kiya`, where a debutant director from Rajshri launched two fresh faces in a memorable love story. `Dono` is a special film to the pioneer production house as the direction baton is being passed on to the next generation in the family. Avnish will helm Rajshri`s 59th film as a director, having previously worked as an Assistant Director on the mega blockbuster `Prem Ratan Dhan Payo` (2015) and as an Associate Director on the critically acclaimed `Uunchai` (2022).
Rajshri, in its 75-year-old legacy, has been a production house of debutants, launching fresh talent in all streams of film with pride. For its 59th Film Production, titled `Dono`, Rajshri is in association with Jio Studios. Directed By – Avnish S. Barjatya and produced by Kamal Kumar Barjatya, Late Rajkumar Barjatya, Ajit Kumar Barjatya. Creative Production is led by Sooraj R. Barjatya. Dono will be released in cinemas soon.
