Dune: Part Two Trailer Reveals More of This Year’s Epic Sci-Fi Sequel

0

Paul Atreides must do what must be done in the latest trailer for this year’s sci-fi epic sequel, Dune: Part Two. Released courtesy of Warner Bros. Pictures, Dune: Part Two will once again feature an all-star ensemble cast led by Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya as it continues to tell the tale of Paul and his messianic destiny on the desert planet Arrakis. Check out the newly released trailer for Dune: Part Two below.

The latest look at Dune: Part Two is a pretty lengthy one, with the trailer clocking in at just over three minutes. However, considering that the sequel is likely to be a long, sweeping epic much like its predecessor, this is still unlikely to show off too much of what’s to come when the saga continues the highly anticipated follow-up to 2021’s six-time Academy Award-winning Dune.

Award-winning filmmaker Denis Villeneuve returns for Dune: Part Two, the next chapter of Frank Herbert’s celebrated novel Dune. Dune: Part Two will explore the mythic journey of Paul Atreides as he unites with Chani and the Fremen while on a warpath of revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family. Facing a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe, he endeavors to prevent a terrible future only he can foresee.

If that were not already enough, Souheila Yacoub (Rise) will star as Shishakli, a Fremen warrior, with Tim Blake Nelson (The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, Captain America: Brave New World) cast in an undisclosed role.

Villeneuve directs Dune: Part Two from a screenplay he co-wrote with Jon Spaihts.
