EastEnders’ Suki ‘at risk’ as BBC confirm dramatic week for Panesars

The Panesar family have a big week ahead of them on EastEnders, with several high stakes moments for the characters.

In upcoming scenes of the BBC soap, things are immediately tense when Nish (played by Navin Chowdhry) scolds Vinny (Shiv Jalota) for messing up a deal.

However, things get even more dramatic when Nish returns home early from a business meeting.

Unaware Suki (Balvinder Panesar) has invited her secret girlfriend Eve (Heather Peace) over while he was out, Nish arranges a dodgy deal.

And since Eve was quickly able to hide in the cupboard under the stairs to stop her and Suki’s relationship from being discovered, she’s able to hear everything that he says.

Eve takes news of his dodgy dealings to Suki and assures her that this is the kind of information they need to take Nish down for good.

Official spoilers confirm Suki and Eve are soon plotting their escape, with the pair set to report Nish to the police.

However, even though she is excited to leave her husband Nish, Suki struggles with the thoughts of leaving her son Vinny behind.

After a heartfelt chat with her son, which Vinny doesn’t realise is actually a goodbye, Suki ultimately decides to move forward with the plan and quickly calls the police to report Nish. But things don’t go quite the way that she and Eve expected them to.

Just as she’s about to leave Walford for good, Suki is horrified when Nish returns home only to accuse Vinny of being the one to report him.

This showdown then leads to a climactic “incident” in the family home.

Actor Shiv, who plays Vinny, has teased: “There’s an incident in the house and Vinny is unsure of the truth behind it, so he has to make a decision.

“Is his dad all he cracks up to be? Is his mum at risk? Vinny’s illusion that they’re a happy family perhaps isn’t true.”

EastEnders airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One, with previous episodes available on iPlayer.
