When will POCO F5 5G launch in India?

According to our sources, POCO F5 5G launch date could be April 6th. The company is yet to confirm this date, so you can take it with a pinch of salt. That said, it seems POCO is looking at unveiling the phone in the first week of April.

POCO F5 5G could be priced similar to its predecessor

There is no indication of the pricing of the upcoming POCO F5 5G mid-range smartphone in India. However, given the hardware specifications and vast competition, POCO will price it on par with its rivals. For reference, the POCO F4 5G, its predecessor was launched in India at Rs 27,999.

POCO F5 5G’s expected specifications

The POCO F5 5G will reportedly be the rebranded version of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo that is expected to launch in China soon. The POCO F5 5G is expected to sport a 6.67-inch QHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1,400 nits brightness, HDR10+ support, and 1,920Hz PWM dimming.

Now, the Redmi Note 12 Turbo is confirmed to be powered by the brand-new Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset. This means the POCO F5 could also get the same chipset. You can also expect up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage on the POCO F5. The device can be expected to run on the latest Android 13 mobile OS with a skin on top.

A triple camera system is likely to be present at the back and is expected to consist of a 50MP primary shooter and an 8MP and a 2MP secondary shooter. This camera system will be accompanied by an LED flash. Upfront, the POCO F5 5G is expected to get a 16MP shooter for selfies and video calls. The POCO F5 5G could draw juice from a 5,500mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging and 30W wireless fast charging.
