Fatshark Shares PC Requirements For Warhammer 40K: Darktide

0

If you’re a fan of the Warhammer 40K universe, then you’re aware that Darktide, basically the science-fiction version of Vermintide, will be available soon. The game’s developer Fatshark has shared what you need in your PC to be able to play it. In addition to the expected table, the company also provided a very in-depth – and helpful – explanation as to what each graphical setting does, and which is right for you and your rig.

If you plan to play the game in Full HD and without ray tracing, Warhammer 40k Darktide isn’t too brutal with what it demands of your gaming rig. Things definitely get expensive if you want all the bells and whistles modern gamin graphics has to offer. But across the board, if you want a 60fps experience, you’ll need 16GB of RAM. The game will also take up 50GB of storage space, but the devs strongly suggest installing the game in an SSD.

You can take a look at the system requirements table above to see where your gaming rig stands, as this should be a familiar process whenever a new game rolls around. But Fatshark has gone the extra step to summarise what each graphical setting does, something that most other devs assume you already know. So while the devs don’t go into detail the difference between the two anti-aliasing options, it at least tells you what ambient occlusion does beyond the dictionary definition of the two words. You can give it a read by hitting the link below.

Warhammer 40K: Darktide launches officially on 30 November, or 1 December after timezone conversion. Those who pre-order the game will get to participate in one last beta, which starts tomorrow, 18 November. Progress is not guaranteed to be carried over, so there’s that to keep in mind. In the meantime, if you missed the weekend when Vermintide 2 was given away for free, the game currently still has an 80% discount on Steam.
