Former Liverpool player Camara praises Dubai Club’s role in empowering People of Determination

DUBAI, 24th July, 2023 (WAM) — Former Liverpool player Abu Bakr Titi Camara praised the significant role played by the Dubai Club for People of Determination in empowering individuals with determination and their efforts to prepare them for full integration in sports, cultural, and social domains.

Camara, the former Guinean forward, went on to describe Dubai for People of Determination as a club which is “distinctive and inclusive”.

This came during Camara’s visit to the Dubai for People of Determination, where he attended part of the summer activities, in the presence of Thani Juma Berregad, Chairman of the Board of Directors. The former Liverpool player was also briefed on the facilities of Dubai for People of Determination and its various initiatives, activities, sports, and cultural programmes.

Delighted by the events he witnessed, Camara expressed his pride in witnessing these exceptional individuals’ determination and commended the authorities’ tremendous efforts to nurture their talents.

Berregad emphasised that the enthusiasm of world-renowned sports stars, especially football players, to visit Dubai Club for People of Determination signifies sport’s ability to transcend borders and distinctions, further solidifying Dubai’s commitment to integrating individuals with determination across all segments of society.
