The Outside the Canvas, Inside the Lens event has returned in Genshin Impact. Once again, you’ll visit various locations so you can take images using the Kamera gadget. Genshin Impact Outside the Canvas, Inside the Lens Greenery Chapter event guide

To start Genshin Impact‘s Outside the Canvas, Inside the Lens Greenery Chapter event (that’s a mouthful!), you’ll just need to talk to an NPC named Asagiri in Inazuma City. Then, once you open the event panel, you’ll notice 14 different locations. Click on the “Go Take Photos” button, and an icon will appear on the map.

Make your way to the marker there, and you’re given some fairly straightforward requirements. These usually include having one or two landmarks/buildings visible on your Kamera screen, a specific character’s type (i.e., birthplace, element, or weapon equipped), as well as an action (i.e., use a normal attack or use an elemental skill). If you meet these requirements, take a photo using the Kamera and you’ll be told if you did it correctly.

• Action requirement: Idle animation

Port Ormos, Sumeru

• Character requirement: Catalyst wielder

• Character requirement: Bow wielder
• Action requirement: Use your charge attack

Guyun Stone Forest, Liyue

• Character requirement: Liyue character
• Action requirement: Use your normal attack

Mawtiyima Forest, Sumeru

• Character requirement: Sword wielder
• Action requirement: Use an elemental skill

Avidya Forest, Sumeru

• Character requirement: Hydro
• Action requirement: Use your normal attack

Stormterror’s Lair, Mondstadt

• Character requirement: Mondstadt character
• Action requirement: Use an elemental skill
