God of War Ragnarok features a ton of activities for players to do and complete. Whether you are laying siege to Asgard, or hunting for treasure, chances are that you have a lot to do. Kratos is a pretty busy man.

Even after you complete the game, you still have a ton of activities that are open for you to do. One such thing is defeating the Last Remnants of Asgard. These encampments feature different enemies that Kratos must destroy.


What Are The Last Remnants of Asgard?

These Last Remnants of Asgard open up only after completing the game. After Kratos lays siege to Asgard and destroys it, remnants of it will scatter throughout the Worlds. These encampments contain enemies from Asgard and are the last remaining bits of the world. If you want to begin the quest, you must find an encampment and destroy it. This will allow Kratos to hunt the others down. There are 10 in total that must be destroyed.

Alfheim

Alfheim contain two different Last Remnants of Asgard encampments.

The Barrens

This Last Remnants of Asgard is located within The Barrens region of Alfheim. Traveling to the area on the map, you will find this encampment. It is important to note, this Last Remnant of Asgard requires you to fight Stinnr and Sterkr, two mini-bosses.

The Strond

The Strond contains an encampment. Travel to the Mystic Gateway within The Strond. You should see some ledges you can climb onto with a symbol underneath them. Climb up them and then travel through the small gap to your right. After this, travel the standard route around the area until you see the encampment.

Midgard

There are two encampments located in Midgard.

Lake of Nine

This Last Remnant of Asgard is just outside Tyr’s Temple. Just travel to the Lake of Nine and take the elevator that takes you up to Tyr’s Temple. Once you get off the elevator, you will see the encampment directly to your right.

Well of Urd

The final encampment within Midgard is within the Well of Urd region. Travel to the Lake of Nine Mystic Gateway. Once you are there, you just need to travel through the Shore of Nine up toward the Well of Urd. You should run into the encampment in the area on the map.

Muspelheim

There is only one Last Remnant of Asgard in Muspelheim.

Burning Cliff

The only Last Remnant of Asgard located in Muspelheim is in the Burning Cliffs region, close to Surtr’s Forge. Take the Mystic Gateway in the Burning Cliffs region and travel down the cliffs to reach the only encampment in the area.

Svartalfheim

You can find 3 Last Remnants of Asgard in Svartalfheim.

Alberich Hollow

This encampment is located in Svartalfheim in the Alberich Hollow area. Travel to the Nidavellir Mystic Gateway. You will need to use your boat to travel toward Dragon Beach. Then continue until you see an Asgardian camp near a giant dwarven statue.

Aurvangar Wetlands

This other encampment is also located in Svartalfheim. If you travel to the Aurvangar Wetlands Mystic Gateway and jump into a boat, head to the area on the map. Once there, you should see a structure to your left. Travel below it and dock your boat. You should see the Asgardians in front of you.

Jarnsmida Pitmines

In the Jarnsmida Pitmines area of Svartalfheim, you will find another encampment. Travel to the Jarnsmida Pitmines Mystic Gateway. You will see a chain in front of you that you can use to get up to the top. Climbing this will lead you to the encampment.

Vanaheim

There are 2 Last Remnants of Asgard encampments within Vanaheim.

Eastern Barri Woods

The first Last Remnant of Asgard is located in the Eastern Barri Woods region. Travel through Freyr’s Camp and get to the area on the map. Once here, you will be able to locate the Asgardian encampment beside you.

Freyr’s Camp

This final encampment can be found in Freyr’s Camp. Travel to the Mystic Gateway close to the camp. Once there, you will use your boat to travel to the camp’s entrance. At the entrance, the final Asgardian encampment will be located directly in front of you.
