During the Cavaliers-Grizzlies game on Thursday night, Dillon Brooks and Donovan Mitchell were ejected due to their involvement in a third-quarter scuffle.
Mitchell was furious that Brooks flung his arm at him. As a result, he chucked the basketball right at his opponent.
This incident involving Brooks and Mitchell has many fans wondering if the Grizzlies guard has become the “dirtiest player” in the NBA.
According to Twitter, that title still belongs to Bucks shooting guard Grayson Allen.
“Dillon Brooks is reaching Grayson Allen levels of foolishness,” Jim Weber said.
“The Grayson Allen special,” one fan tweeted.
Another fan wrote, “Dirtiest player in the league? Did Grayson Allen retire or something?”
So many fans were talking about Allen’s past that he started trending on Twitter.
Allen has been relatively quiet this year when it comes to being at the center of a controversial play. Brooks, on the other hand, has been involved in two scuffles in just the past two weeks.
