British holidaymaker, Callum Ryan, recently flew to Dubai, all for the astonishingly low price of £64. To put this into perspective, the average cost of filling up a car with fuel is £79.13, making Callum’s trip even cheaper than a full tank of petrol.

Callum’s journey began with a Wizz Air flight from Luton to Sofia, Bulgaria, costing him a mere £21.99. From there, he continued his journey to Abu Dhabi, also with Wizz Air, for an additional £35.16.

After landing in Abu Dhabi, Callum took a bus to Dubai, which set him back £7.51. In total, his one-way travel expenses amounted to just £64.66.

It is worth noting Callum, 22, claims filling up his car costs him £120, making his Dubai trip significantly more affordable in comparison. As a social media content creator, Callum embarked on this adventure not only to visit a friend but also as part of a series of budget holiday challenges.

Reflecting on his experience, Callum, who hails from Milton Keynes, expressed his excitement about returning to Dubai.

He said: “It was my second time visiting Dubai – I have always wanted to go back.

“Dubai is a crazy city so to go back for such a small price, as cheap as it was, it was a no-brainer for me.

“I will definitely do it again. When I got there I made the most of Dubai with my friend.

“We went to a water park, an off-road excursion and to the mall – it was a crazy experience.”

On June 2, Callum departed from Luton and arrived in Bulgaria the following day. After a short stay, he continued his journey and reached Dubai at 11.11pm.

During his four-night stay in Dubai, Callum checked into the Citymax Hotel Bur Dubai, where he split the bill with his friend, resulting in a cost of £21.75 per night.

Callum’s return journey to the UK on June 7 amounted to £72.85. This time, he took a different route with Wizz Air, making a stopover in Albania.

It is worth mentioning that Callum is committed to offsetting all the emissions produced during his trips, highlighting his dedication to sustainable travel.

This is not the first time Callum has embarked on a remarkable budget-friendly adventure. In March, he flew to Spain for just £10, which is even cheaper than a box of Estrella beer from Morrisons, priced at £15. Additionally, in April, he enjoyed a spa day in Budapest for less than $10.
