Changi Airport has just reclaimed its title as the best in the world in the latest Skytrax rankings.

It previously held the title for eight consecutive years from 2013 to 2020.

The airport is home to the world’s tallest indoor waterfall, named the Rain Vortex.

The mesmerizing feature flows 131ft down to the basement, and in the evening a light-and-sound show is projected onto the cascade.

If you prefer to get active whilst waiting for your flight, there are plenty of activities to choose from.

Families who have little ones with energy to burn might like to make their way to The Bouncing Net.

It is a huge trampoline surrounded by greenery and is a great place if you want to get the blood pumping in between flights.

Nature lovers can take advantage of one of the many attractions such as the Butterfly Garden, which is home to over 1,000 tropical butterflies.

It is the first of its kind in an airport and has an abundance of flowering plants and lush greenery.

The Cactus Garden and Canopy Park are also great places to unwind and enjoy a stroll around the various trails.

Elsewhere, art lovers can enjoy a variety of sculptures and installations such as Birds in Flight, and Kinetic Rain, which is located in Terminal 1.

If you have more than a few hours to pass, you could get lost in the Hedge Maze, which is Singapore’s largest hedge maze.

When you reach the core of the maze you can have a birds-eye view from the watch tower of the intricate windings.

Other attractions include the Changi Experience Studio, where you can discover all things Changi, a climbing wall, a heritage zone, a canopy bridge, and much more.

With so much to see and do here, it is easy to see how Changi Airports’ title of “world’s best airport” is well deserved.

Doha’s Hamad International Airport came in at second place in the Skytrax rankings, followed by Haneda Airport in third, and Incheon Internation Airport in fourth place.

Japan had two airports that came in the top 10 this year with Narita International airport coming in ninth place.
