Isle Casino Hotel Black Hawk is now a member of the Horseshoe brand.

The casino and hotel at 401 Main St. in Black Hawk will be known as Horseshoe Black Hawk. The transition, which was announced in March, was official Friday will include a renovated exterior and “reimagined” casino floor, as property changes are expected to continue into the fall. Horseshoe Black Hawk will stay open during that time.

“When we talk about Horseshoe, it’s a legendary casino property and legendary name,” said Black Hawk Mayor David Spellman. “It fits in the Rocky Mountains, it fits in Colorado and it fits in the city of Black Hawk.”

Horseshoe is one of many brand names operated by Caesars Entertainment Inc., with Caesars Palace, Harrah’s, Planet Hollywood and more among them.

Caesars is considered the nation’s biggest gaming company, with more than 50 resorts. Notably, Caesars Entertainment merged with Eldorado Resorts Inc. in 2020.

Horseshoe Black Hawk consists of a 42,400-square-foot gaming complex, with more than 900 slot machines. Roxy Restaurant and Bar will soon be joined by Brew Brothers later this year.
