Jake Paul issues futile call-out to KSI after rival teams up with brother Logan

YouTube stars KSI and Logan have fought twice in boxing before, but the pair have ditched any chance of a trilogy fight to become business partners

Jake Paul has attempted to lure KSI into a fight after the Brit paired up with his brother Logan to release a new energy drink.

Logan and KSI teased an announcement earlier this week, which led fans to believe the pair would announce they would be fighting for the third time in the ring.

But the announcement was far from that as Logan and KSI ditched their feud to become business partners with the launch of a new drink, Prime Energy.

The pair fought to a draw in an amateur fight in 2018 with KSI taking a split decision win against Logan in a professional bout the following year.

And Jake congratulated his brother for the launch of his new drinks company whilst calling out KSI for a fight.

“Congrats on this launch Logan Paul hopefully now KSI can get his lazy ass in the gym and get hydrated for an ass-whooping,” he wrote on Instagram.

KSI replied simply: “Go f*** yourself”.

Jake – who is 5-0 as a professional boxer – took the boxing world by storm last year and has previously called out KSI for a fight.

‘The Problem Child’ knocked out former UFC welterweight Ben Askren last April and outpointed former UFC champion Tyron Woodley in August.

He was supposed to face Love Island star Tommy Fury in December, but fought Woodley instead and knocked out the American after Fury withdrew from the fight.

KSI and Logan’s 2019 bout marks their only professional fight to date, with Logan since competing in an eight-round exhibition against ring legend Floyd Mayweather.

But despite KSI fancying his changes against Jake in the ring, he won’t be fighting anytime soon.

When KSI and Logan were asked what they do for a living by TikTok star ItsDanielMac, KSI responded, “Well we used to be boxers but we’re retired now,” to which Paul responds, “Yeah”.

KSI had previously insisted he has the beating of Jake.

“I will, to this day, still tell you I feel like I could beat Jake Paul. I don’t care if he knocks out all these people, styles make fights,” he said on his YouTube channel.

“I know my style would slap up Jake Paul. At the end of the day I could say this I could say that it doesn’t matter, I’m not fighting right now.

“Do I want to fight? Yes. Can I fight? No. The simple facts of it all and it’s not going to happen anytime soon, so don’t hold your breath.

“Things have to slow down in my other sectors of life before I can actually even think about boxing again.”

Along with his YouTube fame, KSI is also a rapper who has released 21 singles to date along with two albums.

The 28-year-old has been nominated for two Brit awards at the upcoming event show in February.
