James Middleton and wife Alizee are ‘clearly in love’ as they announce pregnancy

James Middleton, 36, took to Instagram to share the good news that his wife Alizee Thevenet is pregnant with their first child.

Kate Middleton’s brother said: “We couldn’t be more excited… well Mable might be. It was a very difficult start to the year after losing my beloved Ella however we will end the year with the most precious little addition to our growing family.”

The couple, who exchanged vows in 2021, live in the Berkshire countryside and are now beginning to grow their family.

In the Instagram post, James’s dog Mable could be seen jumping up at Alizee’s baby bump in excitement.

Callisto Adams, a Dating and Relationship expert, previously spoke to Express.co.uk about James and Alizee’s compatibility as a couple.

She said: “Based on what we see and hear from the couple through social media, the couple seems to be very close and content with each other.

“Pictures that show their body language tells us they’re happy to be in each other’s presence.

“As for Alizee Thevenet, she seems to be pretty comfortable and handling the life of associated royalty pretty well.

“Clearly, the couple is in love and happy which indicates support and partnership as well.

“She’s not alone, she’s got the support of a loving, associated royalty partner.”

James was open about his mental health struggles after he was thrust into the limelight as the Princess of Wales’s brother.

But since marrying Alizee in 2021, James has never seen happier according to the relationship expert.

Ms Adams added: “Being involved in something whether you wanted to or not can put someone in a vulnerable position.

“Choosing to be in a situation is much more convenient in most cases than just being there without it being your choice.

“In this case, Alizee was James’s choice to be in the situation. Of course, he seems happier, he’s with his life partner whom he willingly chose to be with.”

Ms Adams analysed the body language between James and Alizee from their social media photographs.

She claimed: “In a lot of pictures, James seems to be holding Alizee’s hand close to him, which gives us a sense of ‘I got you’.

“On the other hand, we see them making eye contact which indicates a strong connection and touch (figuratively).

“They’re smiling, they’re happy. They’re walking side by side while holding hands intertwining their fingers.

“You can sense harmony, content, and a desire to be in each other’s presence.

“It’s beautiful. This is, hands down, one of my favourite couples out there!”
