Kaley Cuoco has celebrated US Mother’s Day in style for the first time as a mum.
The Big Bang Theory star, 37, welcomed her daughter, Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey, at the end of March, and has been sharing adorable updates ever since.
So making sure her first Mother’s Day didn’t go unmarked, she shared sweet Instagram Stories of her one-month-old snuggled up in her crib.
Creeping up to the baby with her camera, the doting new mum is heard saying: Good morning! Hello!”
Little Matilda quickly flashes her a smile as she wriggles around in a peach polkadot swaddle.
“Did you make me a mommy? Is it Mommy’s Day?” Kaley asks the adorable little one, adding: “Thank you for making me a mommy!”
As she unwraps the tot, Kaley playfully tickles the tot’s belly and squishes her cheeks, causing her to giggle some more.
She wrote alongside the clip: “Best first Mother’s Day wake up ever.”
Kaley’s sister, Bri, also celebrated the momentous occasion, sharing a similar video of the baby playing and writing: “Congrats on making a perfect human.”
The adorable baby come just a year after Kaley first went public with her romance with actor, Tom Pelphrey.
The couple appeared together at the Walk Of Fame ceremony for Greg Berlanti, a screenwriter and executive producer for Kaley’s TV show, The Flight Attendant.
On March 31, the couple welcomed their first baby, with the couple waiting until April 3 to share the news.
Alongside pics of the baby, she wrote: “The new light of our lives! We are overjoyed and grateful for this little miracle.”
Since the arrival of Matilda, Kaley has praised her other half for his ‘natural’ dad abilities as they settle in to life as parents.
“I mean, when we were in the hospital, he did everything — every diaper, he’s the swaddle king,” she told People. “All the nurses said, ‘Oh my God, you’re the best guy swaddler we’ve ever seen.’ “
