Kim Kardashian has received mixed reactions to her latest video on her shared TikTok with her daughter North.
We see North dressed up as her father, Kanye West, transformed quite impressively using special effects make-up. Her jawline has been shaded to imitated his jawline, and she has had the heavier brows and beard expertly added.
She imitates his demeanour amazingly, to be fair – wearing an oversized black hoodie and beanie hat – and we see Kim drape her arm around North/Ye. The issue is this: the audio playing in the TikTok is Ye’s sexy 2013 track Bound 2.
Kardashian appeared naked in the music video for this song, infamously. So people have kinda got the ick.
Kardashian has comments switched off on the @kimandnorth TikTok account, but people have taken to Reddit to vent their thoughts on how “uncomfortable” and “weird” they felt about North being in a video with this song playing, and Kardashian’s kinda sexy dancing in it.
One user posted: “It would maybe be okay if Kim turned off the sexy for 2 seconds but with it…and the context…just gross and uncomfortable”.

We’re not sure how Ye feels about the video either, particularly the way his daughter was imitating him and using such a – shall we say it – poignant song from his relationship with Kardashian.
He recently said on the Hollywood Unlocked podcast that he saw the joint TikTok account as a way of “poking the bear or trying to antagonise me or create this crazy narrative”.
Kim Kardashian also opened up in an interview on the “Angie Martinez IRL” podcast about her difficulty pretending to be OK so that her ex-husband Ye can have a relationship with their children North, Chicago, Saint, and Psalm.
“I could be going through something, but if we’re riding to school and they want to listen to their dad’s music, no matter what we’re going through, no matter what is happening in the world, I have to have that smile on my face and blast his music and sing along with my kids and act like nothing’s wrong,” she told Martinez.
“As soon as I drop them off, I can have a good cry.”
